The iconic Caran d'Ache 849 Ballpoint pen has a hexagonal shape and the ultra-comfortable proportions.

Heir to the principles of industrial design and its ergonomic concerns, the 849 and its pleasing purist pen architecture are the source of continuous stylistic renewal, designed for the long term.

The stuff of penmanship legend, the Caran d'Ache 849 comes fitted with a Goliath cartridge. More to the (ball) point, this means you can write for up to 8000 meters. That's 600 sheets of A4.

Made from start to finish in one factory in Geneva.
